I sat there, typing, in the cold dim light of the attic. Everything was so sielent and still nothing seemed to be alive in this world but me. I shivered and glanced at the clock 2:32 sighing I got back to writing. It seems I can never sleep anymore.
This story it drives me mad, I can't advoid it can't escape it. I feel it has to be written. Looking around I saw all of my other unpublished manuscripts. This power within me forces me to write this out. I can see it as if I'm really there.
Leyla walks down the freezing, damp street hoping to see him. It was almost time for sunrise, and she just had to see him. The love of her life. Her breath came out in large huffs as she started running remembering what he told her. "If we meet please avert your eyes. I'm not really there." But she had to see him. Laughing at what he said. Nothing could stop her she loves him. She heard a loud bang and the sound of footsteps coming from the alley. No it can't be she thought. Picking up the pace and running faster than she ever had before.[/i]
The sound of rain woke me from my daze, looking out the window I saw it was pouring big fat drops of rain. The sky was pinkish. Almost sunrise. As I watched lightening streaked the sky lighting everything flourecent voilet. It was beautiful. If only someone else was here to witness this with me.
I turned back to the computer. The sound of the keys in synch with the sound of the rain.
"Aislinn! Aislinn Anna Lee!" My mother called from down the stairs. The smell of coffee filling the house.
"Asilinn Anna Lee it's time to wake up and get ready for school!"
Glancing at the clock I saw it was almost six. Shit I was gonna be late...Again. How did I not hear my alram go off? I got up grabbed my clothes for the day and sprinted down the stairs.
"Good morning sunshine." My mother smiled at me as I pushed past her into the bathroom.
"No time!" I shouted back at her and heard her chuckel.
I stepped into the seering hot water of the shower and sighed. I felt the muscels in my back start to loosen and relax. How long was I up writing in that chair last night? I didn't really have time to think about it. Quickly washing my strawbeery blonde with bluish-black undertone hair out. Everyone thought it was dyed. It isn't. Naturally my hair on top is a beautiful blonde, I hate it. Underneath it's blueish-black most people dont like it, I find it perfect and flawless like raven wings flowing gently down my back. I got out of the shower and decided to just pull my hair back. I just didn't have tiime to style my waist length hair.
I can't ever rember having short hair, sometimes I think I was born with hair this long. Quickly I got dressed in a pair of dark wash jeans and a plain black shirt. Looking in the mirror I study the bags under my eyes. The right one a crystal green dark like and emrald and the other voilet, sometimes changing to a light dark brown. Mismatched just like everything else in my life.
"Aislinn Anna Lee it's six thrity you're late!" My mother screamed at me from the bottom of the stairs. I must have zoned out staring in the mirror, I didn't think I was in here that long.
"Coming!" I jumped all the stairs and grabbed my thermose of coffee she already prepared for me. Extra sweet just like I like it.
"I'll drop you off on my way to work." She said smirking at me while picking up her keys.
"Thanks." I said into my coffee. She smiled and walked to the door.
"Now hurry up you don't want to be late." she stated walking to her bright blue vw bug my black mefcedes next to it. "Agian." she said under her breath more as an after thought than anything.
I jumped out of the car before it stopped running up the school steps not bothering to say good-bye. I was late. Really late. Again. I burst through the class room door panting after just runing across the whole school. Everyone looked up at me then went back to doing whatever. I saw a lot of them were reading I'm sorry I never loved you. Written by the one and only Ashly Fairchild. The one and author no one had seen any pictures of or have any idea who that girl is. Well that is no one but her publisher and I know who she is.
Aislinn Anna Lee Alexandria Charlotten.
"Sorry I'm late." I said quietly passing the teacher. She looked up and shook her head.
"One more time Aislinn and you've got yourself a detention." She exasperatly said. I nodded.
"It won't happen again Mrs.Byrd. I promise." I said sincerly to her walking to my seat.
"Oh and Ms. Charlotten Where are your shoes?"
